Equipment
Convey Wi-Fi wireless network is compatible with any Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) enabled terminal equipment.
Please turn on your wireless connection before trying to log into Convey Wi-Fi network.
Network settings
Open “Control Panel” – “Network Connections”. Right-click “Wireless Network Connection”, click “Properties” and make sure you have set the following options:
- “General” tab:
- Internet protocol: TCP/IP
- Obtain IP-address: automatically
- Obtain DNS server address: automatically
- “Wireless Networks” tab:
- Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings
- Preferred network: Convey
- “Add”
- “Association”
- Network name (SSID): Convey
- Data encryption (WEP): disable
- Network Authentication: disable
- “Advanced”:
- Access point (infrastructure) networks only
- Automatically connect to non - preferred network
Internet Explorer settings
Open “Control Panel” and double-click “Internet options”.
- “Advanced” tab:
- Activate secure connection SSL / TLS
- “Connections” tab:
- In “LAN Settings” enable “Automatically detect settings”;
- Disable “Use a proxy - server for your LAN”.
Connection
- Enter any WWW address in the browser address line and press Enter. Wait for authorization page to open;
- Enter PIN number to log into Convey Wi-Fi network;
- Press “Connect” button;
- Do not forget to log off once you have finished your Internet session.
Enjoy wireless broadband Internet access brought to you by Convey Wi-Fi network!
PIN number is located under scratch-off area on the back of prepaid Wi-Fi Internet access card.
